Six arrested for organ trafficking

LAHORE:
Mangamandi police arrested six members of a gang allegedly involved in the illegal trade and transplantation of human organs. The suspects, Qasim, Fayyaz, Maqsood, Riaz, Iqbal and Mureed Hassan, were taken into custody during a raid.
Police said the gang was engaged in the unlawful extraction and sale of kidneys, targeting vulnerable individuals.
Investigators alleged that the suspects lured people with financial incentives and deceitfully removed their organs for sale. A case has been registered against the arrested suspects.
