Two found dead in separate incidents

LAHORE:

At least two people lost their lives in separate incidents reported in the provincial capital. In the first incident, a 45-year-old man was found dead inside his residence in Islampura area, within the jurisdiction of Sant Nagar. An Edhi spokesperson identified the deceased as Tariq, stating that he had apparently died of cardiac arrest. In a separate incident, a 29-year-old man who had sustained injuries in a traffic accident four days ago succumbed to his wounds during treatment at a hospital in Shadman.

The victim was identified as Shiraz. Officials said the accident had occurred after the victim was hit by a speeding car. Police and relevant investigative authorities completed legal formalities, following which Edhi volunteers shifted the bodies to the morgue. Further investigations are under way.
