ISLAMABAD:

Pakistan's Ambassador to the United States Rizwan Saeed Sheikh has expressed Islamabad's steadfast commitment to promoting conflict resolution through dialogue and constructive engagement following a meeting with US Congressman Brian Mast, chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee's Republican caucus.

Sheikh described the interaction as "broad-based and productive," noting that both sides exchanged views on evolving regional and global developments. He also thanked the Congressman for recognising Pakistan's role in facilitating peace efforts in the Middle East and beyond.

The discussions included prospects for strengthening the historically significant Pakistan-US partnership, particularly in the context of an increasingly complex global landscape, according to a statement shared on social media.
