Actor Zara Noor Abbas has shared a candid message about mental health, encouraging people to step out of their comfort zones and engage in physical activity as a way to cope with emotional challenges.
In a recent Instagram video recorded at a gym, she reflected on her own journey, asking followers whether they would choose “familiarity or evolution.”
Zara spoke about struggling to validate her feelings for a long time, adding that while therapy had helped, other factors also played a role in maintaining emotional well-being.
According to Zara, actively going out, meeting people, and engaging in purposeful activities can have a positive impact on mental health.
Clarifying her point, she noted that movement does not refer to routine tasks such as driving or cooking, but rather intentional efforts to step outside and connect with others.
She also spoke about depression, describing it as a condition that is often difficult to understand until one experiences it, after which managing anxiety and emotional triggers becomes an ongoing process.
The actor has previously spoken openly about her struggles with anxiety, spirituality, and postpartum depression, positioning herself as an advocate for mental health awareness.
