IHC judges' transfer gets president's nod

ISLAMABAD:

Acting President of Pakistan Yusuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday approved the transfers of three judges from the Islamabad High Court on the prime minister's advice.

According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Law, "In exercise of the powers conferred under clause (1) of Article 200 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, on the recommendation of the JCP, the President is pleased to transfer Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani to LHC, Justice Babar Sattar to PHC and Justice Saman Rafat Imtiaz to SHC."
