'Ted Lasso' Season 4 release date confirmed as trailer shows women’s team storyline
The series sees the return of Jason Sudeikis as the title character, a coach who relocates from the US to the UK

Season four of Ted Lasso will premiere on August 5, with new episodes released weekly until October 7.
The series sees the return of Jason Sudeikis as the title character, a coach who relocates from the United States to the United Kingdom.
In the upcoming season, Ted returns to Richmond to manage a second division women’s football team, marking a shift in the show’s narrative focus.
A newly released trailer offers a preview of the storyline, showing Ted working with a new group of players while adapting to the challenges of coaching women’s sport.
In one scene, he is criticised with the remark, “coaching a bunch of girls – you wanker!” The official synopsis states, “Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.”
Several original cast members will reprise their roles, including Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt and Jeremy Swift. New additions to the cast include Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern and Grant Feely.
Behind the scenes, Sudeikis also serves as executive producer alongside a team that includes Jack Burditt and Bill Lawrence. The series is produced in association with Warner Bros. Television and Universal Television.
The upcoming season continues the show’s blend of sport and character-driven storytelling, with a new emphasis on growth and risk-taking.
