Court grants bail to PM's daughter, son-in-law
The special central court on Tuesday granted interim bail to PM Shehbaz Sharif's daughter Rabia Imran and son-in-law Imran Yousaf in a reference related to alleged corruption in the Punjab Power Development Company (PPDC).
Judge Ashfaq Ahmed heard the interim bail applications and restrained the FIA from arresting them till May 7. Rabia and Imran appeared before the court and marked their attendance.
NAB had filed a reference against the accused over alleged corruption in the Punjab Power Development Company. The PM's son-in-law and daughter were declared proclaimed offenders in the reference.
