30 field offices adopt digital audit system

ISLAMABAD:

The government has completed the implementation of the Audit Management Information System (AMIS) in 30 field audit offices across Pakistan.

According to official documents available with Wealth Pakistan, all audit teams in field offices are now actively using the system, reflecting a full transition from manual to digital audit processes and achieving 100 percent progress in AMIS deployment.

Importantly, all audits conducted through AMIS are now risk-based, enhancing audit quality by focusing on high-risk areas and improving resource allocation. This shift is expected to strengthen transparency.
