Dua Lipa is at the centre of fresh wedding speculation after reports in Italy claimed the singer may be planning to marry in Palermo, Sicily.
While no official announcement has been made, local media and social chatter have fuelled rumours that a major celebration could be in the works.
The speculation intensified after reports suggested Villa Igiea, Palermo’s famous luxury seaside hotel, had been booked for a high-profile private event. The historic venue, known for hosting lavish weddings and VIP guests, has become a focal point of the rumours.
Adding to the buzz were claims that Dua Lipa was recently seen meeting renowned Italian wedding planner Alessandra Grillo, whose name has been linked to several celebrity ceremonies in recent years.
Palermo has been closely tied to the singer since summer 2025, when she visited the city with actor Callum Turner. During the trip, the couple toured major landmarks, enjoyed local cuisine and stayed at Villa Igiea. Dua later posted photos from the visit with the caption, “Palermo in my heart.”

The singer also praised the city during a later concert appearance, mentioning Palermo’s cannoli, spaghetti and arancina, which further strengthened the connection in the eyes of local fans.
Dua Lipa and Turner have been linked since 2024 and made their relationship public in 2025. Turner has also attracted attention in recent months due to speculation surrounding the next James Bond role.
Neither Dua Lipa nor her representatives have confirmed any wedding plans. However, the growing rumours have already captured attention in Italy, where Palermo is being tipped as a possible celebrity wedding destination.
If confirmed, the event would bring major international attention to Sicily’s capital, which has spent recent years building its profile as a luxury travel and cultural hotspot. For now, Palermo is waiting, and watching closely.
