Dry weather to persist in most parts of country

Dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while conditions will remain hot in plain areas during the next 24 hours.

Rain, windstorms, and thunderstorms are expected at isolated places in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Potohar region, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Temperatures recorded in major cities during morning were Islamabad and Peshawar 18°C; Lahore and Karachi 25°C; Quetta and Muzaffarabad 14°C; Gilgit 12°C and Murree: 10°C.

According to the weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, cloudy weather with chances of rain and thunderstorms is expected in Srinagar, Jammu and Pulwama.
