Kristin Cabot claims Chris Martin never reached out after viral Coldplay kiss cam scandal
Cabot also indicated that the experience has altered her attitude towards live events

Kristin Cabot has said that Coldplay frontman Chris Martin did not contact her following the widely discussed kiss cam incident at a 2025 concert.
The former chief people officer of Astronomer was filmed during a Coldplay performance in Massachusetts on July 15, 2025, where she was seen in an intimate moment with then-CEO Andy Byron. The footage, captured on a venue kiss cam, quickly circulated online and drew significant public attention.
Speaking recently to a TMZ reporter at a public event, Cabot confirmed there had been no communication from the singer when asked if he had reached out. “No! Never did,” she said. When asked whether she would have welcomed contact, she replied, “Yup! That would be great.”
Cabot also indicated that the experience has altered her attitude towards live events. When asked if she would attend another concert, including one by Coldplay, she responded, “No, Coldplay or any concert…No, I am all set.”
The incident placed Cabot under scrutiny, particularly as reports noted that her estranged husband was also present at the concert. She later discussed the situation publicly, explaining that she had not expected to encounter him at the event. According to the same account, Byron was also believed to be separated from his wife at the time.
Following the viral moment, both Cabot and Byron stepped down from their roles at Astronomer, with Byron resigning as chief executive.
