NCT’s Haechan mobbed at airport as dating rumours trigger stalking concerns
The situation intensified when Haechan travelled to Las Vegas without a publicly announced schedule

NCT member Haechan was surrounded by fans at an airport following escalating dating rumours, prompting concerns over privacy and fan conduct.
Speculation surrounding the 25-year-old idol began after online users shared images and observations suggesting a possible relationship with an influencer. Posts highlighted similarities in locations, outfits and backgrounds, with some claiming the woman had attended an NCT Dream concert in March.
The situation intensified when Haechan travelled to Las Vegas without a publicly announced schedule. Online users later claimed to have identified matching flight details, although no confirmation of a relationship has been provided.

As rumours spread, fans began closely monitoring his movements. Reports suggested efforts were made to obscure his travel itinerary through multiple flight bookings and cancellations, but this reportedly led to increased scrutiny from so-called “sasaeng” fans.
Groups of fans gathered across airport locations, sharing updates in real time and positioning themselves at different exits. The situation escalated when Haechan returned to South Korea on April 13.
Despite attempting to remain inconspicuous in a mask and cap, he was recognised at Incheon Airport and quickly surrounded. Videos circulating online show fans shouting at him, with some heard saying “Apologise!” and “Are you crazy?”
Haechan did not respond and was escorted away by staff. Some passengers also claimed that the alleged influencer travelled on the same flight and left with him, though this has not been verified.
The incident has sparked debate online, with many criticising the intensity of fan behaviour and describing it as invasive. Others noted that speculation around personal relationships often leads to heightened scrutiny for public figures.
While the dating rumours remain unconfirmed, the episode has renewed discussion about privacy boundaries and the pressures faced by K-pop artists in maintaining both public and personal lives.
