PM Shehbaz says Pakistan making all-out efforts to resolve US-Iran dispute

Also informs cabinet about his upcoming visit to Saudi Arabia

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday expressed satisfaction over the progress in the negotiations between the US and Iran, saying Pakistan was making all efforts to resolve the dispute.

Addressing the federal cabinet, the prime minister said Pakistan’s leadership made full contributions toward peace and mediation, noting that the top leadership of the United States and Iran came to the negotiating table after 47 years.

“Our sincere efforts resulted in a ceasefire between the United States and Iran,” he said, adding that the ceasefire remains in effect.
