During the performance, Bieber incorporated a livestream element, taking song requests from fans via YouTube.

His setlist included tracks such as Favourite Girl, That Should Be Me, Beauty and a Beat, Never Say Never, Confident, All That Matters and Sorry, alongside covers including With You by Chris Brown and So Sick by Ne-Yo.

The show also featured guest appearances. Bieber performed Stay with The Kid Laroi, Devotion with Dijon, I Think You’re Special with Tems, Essence with Tems and Wizkid, and Daisies with Mkgee.

Perry’s reaction extended beyond the live moment. In one clip, she commented as Bieber opened YouTube during the set, saying, "Thank God he has Premium. I don’t wanna see no ads.” The remark was shared widely online, with users responding to the moment across social media platforms.

Audience responses to Bieber’s performance varied. Some viewers described the use of YouTube during the set as unconventional, while others highlighted the nostalgic appeal of songs such as Baby and Never Say Never.

The performance marked Bieber’s first time headlining Coachella. He is scheduled to appear again during the festival’s second weekend.
