Sombr brings out Smashing Pumpkins' Billy Corgan during Coachella set

Sombr delivered a Coachella performance on April 12 that featured a surprise appearance from Billy Corgan, frontman of Smashing Pumpkins, during his live set.

The pop rock artist performed a selection of his tracks, including “Homewrecker”, “Back to Friends”, “Undressed” and his single “12 to 12”. The set also included a guest segment in which Corgan joined him on stage to perform “Speed” and “1979”.

The performance opened with “Homewrecker” before moving into other releases, with stage visuals introduced later in the set during the track “Never Even Dated”.

The show concluded with “12 to 12”, a track Sombr has previously performed at the Grammy Awards, where he was nominated for Best New Artist earlier this year.

Sombr had indicated before the festival that he had been preparing to perform “12 to 12” at Coachella since October 2025. The appearance follows the conclusion of his Late Nights & Young Romance Tour, which included nearly 70 shows.

The set featured a combination of Sombr’s recent releases and collaborative moments, reflecting his current position within the pop-rock genre.
