Former Punjab governor laid to rest

The funeral prayers of former Punjab governor and senior politician Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa were offered at the Sports Stadium in Model Town, where thousands of people gathered to pay their last respects.

According to details, a large number of political, social, and administrative figures attended the funeral.

Among them were Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, former Punjab chief secretary Nasir Mahmood Khosa, former governor Sardar Latif Khosa, Rafiq Rajwana, senior politician Javed Hashmi, members of the provincial assembly Muhammad Hanif Pitafi, Usama Abdul Karim, Sardar Ahmed Khan Laghari, Khawaja Salahuddin, and Khawaja Nizamul Mahmood.

Tribal leaders, including Chief of Laghari tribe Sardar Jamal Khan Laghari and Chief of Qaisrani tribe Sardar Mir Badshah Khan Qaisrani, along with former MNAs and MPAs, senior officials such as Commissioner Ashfaq Ahmed Chaudhry, RPO Azhar Akram, DPO Sadiq Baloch, and Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Usman Khalid, were also present.
