Rapper Offset has been released from hospital after being treated for gunshot wounds sustained during a violent altercation near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
A representative for the artist confirmed that Offset has been discharged and is now “up and walking”, adding that he is grateful to medical staff for their care during his recovery. The statement also noted that he is focusing on his health, family and returning to music.
The shooting reportedly occurred on April 6 following a confrontation linked to ongoing tensions involving alleged gambling-related disputes. The incident escalated outside the casino, leading to injuries and a police investigation.
Authorities have confirmed that multiple individuals were detained in connection with the case, though the full circumstances remain under investigation. Law enforcement has not released additional details regarding charges related directly to the shooting.
The incident has also drawn attention to Offset’s reported financial issues, including alleged gambling losses and separate legal disputes involving unpaid casino debts. These claims have intensified public scrutiny around the rapper’s recent personal and financial challenges.
Despite the controversy, Offset’s team has emphasised that he is now focused on recovery and returning to work. His social media message described life as a balance of “quiet wins and loud losses”, signalling an attempt to reset following the incident.
The investigation into the casino shooting remains ongoing.
