Baisakhi celebrations set to begin

All arrangements have been finalised for the forthcoming Baisakhi festival and the 327th birth anniversary of the Khalsa.
Sikh pilgrims from India are due to arrive in Pakistan on April 10 via the Wagah border, where they will be accorded a warm official welcome.
According to sources, the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB), in coordination with the Punjab government, has put in place comprehensive arrangements, including stringent security, comfortable accommodation, medical services and transport facilities for the pilgrims.
Heightened security measures have been enforced along designated routes, with all relevant departments placed on high alert.
Key religious sites, including Gurdwara Janam Asthan in Nankana Sahib and Gurdwara Panja Sahib, have been elaborately decorated, with all necessary facilities provided to facilitate visitors.
