Sindh expands adopt-a-school initiative

Adopt-a-School Program (AASP) Steering Committee conducted a comprehensive review of applications submitted by both prospective and existing partners seeking to adopt government schools under the AASP initiative during a day-long session.

The 25th meeting of AASP Steering Committee was held at the Sindh Education Foundation (SEF) Head Office on Wednesday. In total, 10 applications covering 15 schools across Sindh were reviewed. The evaluation process focused on ensuring that selected partners demonstrate strong operational capability and a clear vision for sustainable school improvement.

Officials emphasised that the Adopt-a-School Program remains a vital platform for fostering collaboration between the public and private sectors. By enabling credible organisations to manage and support government schools, the programme aims to enhance access to quality education, strengthen school governance, and deliver long-term, sustainable impact.
