Man rescued hanging from bridge with Tessori poster

A man was rescued after hanging from a pedestrian bridge on Shaheed Millat Road while holding a poster of former Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori. The incident, captured on a mobile phone video, sparked a swift response from police.

According to Ferozabad Police, the man tied ropes and suspended himself from the bridge, holding a banner featuring images of Tessori and other high-ranking officials. The banner reportedly demanded the reinstatement of Kamran Tessori as Governor.

Upon receiving information that the man's life was at risk, police reached the scene and brought him down. He was later taken to Ferozabad Police Station. The individual identified himself as Abdul Hakim, a resident of Landhi Sher Pao Colony.

Abdul Hakim told authorities that he suffers from sugar and water retention problems along with other illnesses and wanted medical treatment. He said he had seen Tessori's welfare work on various TV channels and wished to meet him for assistance. Speaking to The Express Tribune, Abdul Hakim stated that even if Tessori could not provide treatment, he still wanted a meeting.
