Truck loaded with threads hijacked

Armed men riding a car hijacked a truck loaded with high-value threads in the Gabol Town Industrial Area and fled. During the incident, the truck driver was abducted and held hostage in the robbers' car before being released.

According to police, the incident occurred near Shafiq Mor in New Karachi.

The suspects stopped the truck, forced the driver into their vehicle, and drove off with the cargo-laden truck. The abducted driver was released after being taken to multiple locations.

The robbery took place around 3:30pm on Tuesday, and the police received the complaint at 6pm. Officials said the truck was traveling from Nagan Chowrangi towards Shafiq Mor when the car-borne suspects carried out the hijacking.

Police are trying to obtain CCTV footage from the scene and surrounding areas to gather information about the suspects and their vehicle. Investigations are ongoing from multiple angles to track down those responsible.
