The city on Tuesday experienced stronger-than-usual winds, reaching a maximum speed of 47 km/h (26 knots) from the southwest direction over the sea. The city recorded a minimum temperature of 24°C and a maximum of 31.5°C, showing a slight increase of 1°C compared to the previous day.
According to the Meteorological Department's Early Warning Centre, the maximum temperature is expected to reach 33°C on Wednesday and could rise further to 34°C by Thursday. The weather in other cities across the province is expected to remain dry.
