Tori Spelling and several of her children are recovering after being involved in a car accident in California on April 2, according to reports and a source familiar with the situation.

The actress, 52, was driving when the incident occurred in Temecula, located around 80 miles outside Los Angeles. Four of her children and three of their friends were also in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

A source said the incident unfolded rapidly and left those involved shaken. “It happened very quickly, and it was scary,” the source said, adding that “Everyone's still pretty shook up and have minor injuries. Tori feels they were all very lucky that it wasn't worse, though.”

Emergency services responded to the scene at approximately 5:45 p.m., where two vehicles were found with collision damage. Authorities confirmed that all individuals involved were evaluated following the crash.

Spelling and the seven children were transported to the hospital in three separate ambulances. They were treated for injuries including cuts, bruises, contusions and concussions. No arrests were made in connection with the incident.

Reports indicate that Spelling’s vehicle was struck by another driver who allegedly ran a red light at speed. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under review, and no further official details have been released.

Despite the incident, the family was able to spend Easter together days later. The source described this as a positive outcome following the accident.

Spelling shares five children with her former partner, Dean McDermott. The recent crash marks another road-related incident in her past, following a 2011 accident while she was pregnant.

Representatives for Spelling confirmed the incident but have not provided additional comment.
