Minister urges NCCIA action against cybercrime

ISLAMABAD:

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has emphasized that the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) must play a proactive role in the present era to curb cybercrimes.

He expressed these views while visiting the building designated for the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency headquarters in Islamabad.

During the visit, Naqvi sought a comprehensive plan for the upgradation of the building, directing that a new floor be added to the building in view of the institution's growing requirements.

He said the NCCIA headquarter would be equipped with modern IT infrastructure and advanced digital facilities.
