Crackdown yields arrest of fake faith healers

Police arrested alleged fake faith healers and professional beggars during ongoing crackdowns in Haripur district.
According to a police spokesperson, operations against black magic practitioners and fraudulent amulet sellers are continuing. SHO City Siddiq Shah, under the supervision of DSP City Saeed Yadoon, arrested Muhammad Hanif, son of Faqir Muhammad, resident of Makhan Colony, on public complaints. A case was registered under sections 297A, 508, and Section 3 of PWA 2017.
Police also conducted a crackdown against professional beggars and organised groups operating under the guise of begging at various locations in Khanpur.
