Brian Littrell has come under scrutiny following a recorded altercation with a neighbour in Florida that has prompted both legal action and public reaction.

The incident took place on March 22 in Walton County, where the Backstreet Boys singer was involved in a heated disagreement with a man identified as Kyle Gallagher. Footage of the exchange, later submitted as part of a battery complaint filed by Littrell, shows the confrontation escalating.

During the exchange, Littrell can be heard saying, “What the f**k, dude?” after accusing Gallagher of interfering with his phone. Gallagher responded, “You cannot be putting that in my face, bro,” and “Get out of my face, bro,” as tensions continued to rise.

The argument intensified further, with both individuals accusing each other of aggressive behaviour. Gallagher warned, “You’re lucky I didn’t knock you the f**k out,” while also claiming to have recorded the encounter.

At one point during the dispute, Littrell used offensive language, including a homophobic slur directed at his neighbour. He said, “You want to be gay? Want to be a p**y?” during the exchange, which has since drawn criticism.

Authorities confirmed that Littrell contacted emergency services following the incident and sought to pursue a battery case against Gallagher. However, court documents indicate that the Walton County Sheriff’s Office submitted a warrant request which was not recommended for further action due to what was described as a “lack of criminal intent.”

Littrell’s legal representative, Peter Ticktin, stated, “Littrell was assaulted by a hostile beach protester. A report was made to the feckless sheriff’s office.”

The situation has raised questions about conduct and accountability, with the video continuing to circulate online as legal proceedings remain under review.
