Students caught cheating in exams

On the other hand, as many as 20 students were caught cheating during matriculation exams over two days through online CCTV monitoring, and cases have been forwarded for legal action. Two invigilators at Kahuta examination centre have also been suspended.
Controller of Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan visited several centres, including Government Gilani Model High School Wah Cantt and Government High School Wah Village. He said all exam processes are being continuously monitored through a command and control room.
Cases were reported from multiple institutions, including one each from Quaid-i-Azam Academy for Educational Development Talagang, Government High School Khayaban-i-Sir Syed Rawalpindi, and Government High School Sakoot Kallar Syedan, while 16 cases emerged from Government Higher Secondary School Basali Rawalpindi. All 20 candidates were caught red-handed, and their cases were immediately forwarded to the board's discipline branch.
One invigilator at Basali School was removed from duty, while the superintendent and deputy superintendent at Government Girls High School Kahuta were suspended. Overall, staff at two centres faced disciplinary action.
