Three cops among seven injured in K-P IED blast

DERA ISMAIL KHAN:

At least seven people, including three police personnel, were injured in a blast from an IED in the Sarai Naurang area of Lakki Marwat in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

Lakki Marwat District Police Officer (DPO) Nazir Ahmed told The Express Tribune that the attack targeted a police vehicle near a vegetable market.

He said a powerful explosion resulted in three police personnel being injured, who were immediately taken to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Sarai Naurang.

According to the hospital spokesperson, Dr Muhammad Ishaq, a total of seven injured individuals were admitted.
