KARACHI:

The PAA has extended its Notice to Airmen (Notam) issued for airlines due to a shortage of Jet A-1 fuel until April 15.

According to a fresh notice, the advisory has been prolonged due to an energy crisis triggered by the evolving situation in the Middle East.

Under the directive, airlines must operate flights departing from Pakistan with reduced fuel loads, while ensuring inbound flights carry the maximum possible jet fuel.

The PAA had initially issued the advisory in response to fuel supply constraints arising from the ongoing regional situation, which has disrupted energy availability.
