Amanda Batula and West Wilson have confirmed they are in a relationship following weeks of speculation surrounding their status as more than friends.

The Summer House co-stars shared a joint statement on March 31 via Instagram, addressing rumours and describing their relationship as “very new”. The pair explained their decision to remain private initially, citing the complexities of their personal and professional lives.

“It was never our intention to purposely hide anything,” the statement read. “Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”

They added that their connection developed over time from a longstanding friendship.

Amanda and West also acknowledged the impact their relationship may have on those around them. “We also recognize that this has never had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless,” they said, adding that they “truly appreciate the understanding and respect” as they navigate the situation.

The confirmation follows a period of personal change for both. Amanda recently announced her split from estranged husband Kyle Cooke after several years of marriage. Meanwhile, West previously had a relationship with Ciara Miller, which ended in 2023.

Their romance has unfolded alongside ongoing developments in Summer House Season 10, where relationship tensions and shifting dynamics have been central to the storyline, drawing continued attention from viewers and fellow cast members.
