Traffic diversion plan unveiled

ISLAMABAD:
The Islamabad Traffic Police have issued a diversion plan in view of ongoing construction work in the federal capital, effective from March 31, 2026, until completion of the project.
According to the plan, Ataturk Avenue will remain closed from Express Chowk to Ayub Chowk (Agha Khan Road), with traffic diverted accordingly.
Commuters traveling to and from the Marriott Hotel via Jinnah Avenue have been advised to use China Chowk, Press Club Road, Super Market and Agha Khan Road as alternate routes.
