Spring bloom transforms Liaquat Bagh

Seasonal flowers create refreshing ambience; citizens welcome beautification initiatives

RAWALPINDI:

With the arrival of spring, the Liaquat Bagh—one of the city's most prominent recreational and historic sites—is being further enhanced in beauty and appeal through special measures undertaken by the Rawalpindi Horticulture Agency (RHA).

Acting on the directives of RHA Managing Director Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, comprehensive arrangements have been put in place for decoration, landscaping, and the upkeep of vibrant seasonal flowers and plants across the park.

According to the agency, similar efforts are underway to beautify parks throughout the city. Special attention is also being given to maintaining the green belts along Liaquat Road. At Liaquat Bagh, regular care of flowers and plants is producing visually striking displays, with the seasonal bloom creating a refreshing spring ambience.

In view of changing weather conditions, precautionary measures have also been implemented to protect plants and flowers from potential damage, ensuring their healthy growth. The colourful floral arrangements and lush greenery now present a vivid springtime scene, drawing the attention of visitors.

These initiatives are aimed at providing citizens with a pleasant, aesthetically appealing, and safe recreational environment. The agency's staff continues to carry out horticultural and maintenance work at the park with dedication and professionalism, resulting in a noticeable improvement in its overall appearance.

Residents have welcomed these efforts and expressed hope that similar initiatives will be sustained in other parks across the city in the future.?
