Partial exam results announced

RAWALPINDI:

For the first time in Punjab's educational history, government schools are announcing results of incomplete annual examinations for classes one to seven.

Results will be announced in phases, with some schools calling students on Tuesday, March 31, while a majority will announce results on Wednesday, April 1. Government schools have remained closed from March 10 to March 31, during which only partial examinations were conducted.

A large number of schools in the Rawalpindi district have summoned students for result announcements on March 31, while most others have called them on April 1. Following the announcements, regular classes for the new academic session will begin from April 2.

This year, many government schools have not awarded first, second, and third positions, although a few schools that completed exams have maintained the practice.

Special arrangements have been made in schools for the result announcements. Meanwhile, matriculation examinations are also ongoing in many institutions.

Under government instructions, old textbooks will be redistributed instead of new ones. Students promoted to the next class will receive books only after returning their previous year's textbooks. Class teachers have directed students to submit old books immediately.
