KARACHI:

Sindh Senior Minister, Sharjeel Inam Memon, has strongly condemned remarks made by the son of the PTI founder regarding GSP Plus. He described the statements as a dangerous conspiracy against national interests and said they are entirely unacceptable.

In a statement, the senior minister said that the GSP Plus status not only provides crucial economic support to Pakistan but is also directly linked to the employment of millions of Pakistanis. Making political statements on such a sensitive matter is an attempt to harm the nation's interests.

He further criticised PTI for allegedly spreading falsehoods and trying to distort facts.

Sharjeel asserted that the public is observing how certain groups continue to run campaigns against Pakistan, sometimes risking the country's international reputation for personal or political gains. He highlighted that Pakistan's economy is facing challenges and stressed the need for unity and seriousness at this critical juncture.
