Hearing aids distributed in Shujabad
Ninety hearing aids were distributed among students at the Special Education School in Shujabad.
Multan Division Commissioner Aamir Karim Khan handed over the devices during a ceremony. According to officials, a medical survey of 3,030 students in special education institutions identified around 460 children who could benefit from hearing aids.
The distribution marked the first phase of the project, with more devices to be provided in the coming months.
The commissioner said use of the hearing aids would not only restore hearing but also help the children develop speech abilities, enhancing their quality of life. He termed the initiative a successful example of collaboration between the government, corporate sector, and philanthropists.
