Taylor Swift credited her fiancé Travis Kelce for inspiring the sense of confidence and freedom behind her music during a speech at the iHeartRadio Music Awards 2026 in Los Angeles on March 26.

The singer attended the ceremony at the Dolby Theatre, marking the couple’s first joint appearance at an awards event since their engagement.

Swift emerged as the night’s leading winner, securing seven awards from nine nominations, including Artist of the Year and Pop Album of the Year for The Life of a Showgirl. Her latest victories bring her total to 41 iHeartRadio Music Awards, extending her record as the most-awarded artist in the show’s history, according to Billboard.

While accepting the Pop Album of the Year award, Taylor Swift addressed fans and collaborators, including RAYE, before reflecting on the emotional tone of her album. She connected its uplifting mood to her personal life, acknowledging Kelce, who was present in the audience.

“This album probably also feels very happy and confident and free because that’s the way that I get to feel every single day of my life because of my fiance who’s here tonight,” Swift said. “So thanks for all the vibes.”
