Ali Zafar claps back at Eid outfit critics with sarcastic post

This Eid, we saw a variety of looks and a shift in the fashion scene; some celebrities were praised and admired for their outfits, while others were heavily criticised for their choices.
One of them is Ali Zafar, the Jhoom singer, who was heavily criticised on Instagram and Facebook for his Eid fit, and recently took to X to issue a sarcastic apology to his fans.
The Chal Dil Merey singer took on X to release a sarcastic apology, stating to them for causing one of the most pressing national and global issues that has affected everyone's life. He further stated that he won't repeat these grave mistakes, further thanking them for their attention to this matter.
I would like to apologise to the nation for wearing a see through kurta without a banyan, and for the very serious act of watering plants in a traditional Ajrak dhoti on Eid. I understand this has been one of the most pressing national and global issues affecting everyone’s lives…
People loved his sarcastic apology and further wrote on his page that they won't accept the apology until they see him actually wearing a banyaan, to which Zafar replied by sharing a pic of him wearing a banyaan and working out in the gym.

Other X users commented loving his hilarious roasting of the matter and asked him not to forget his banyaan the next time. Some shared appreciation over the fact that he handled the matter extremely well and used his humor to distract people from the pressing matter that is of the war.
