PPP's Khursheed Shah honours freedom leaders

ISLAMABAD:

Senior PPP leader Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah on Monday said that Pakistan Day is observed to pay homage to the leaders of the freedom movement and to renew the pledge that the nation will never hesitate to render any sacrifice for the homeland.

Shah said that the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was anchored in democracy, peace, progress, and equality, and that the struggle to realize this vision would continue.

He added that since its inception, PPP has waged an unparalleled struggle for human rights, democracy and constitutional rights, and reaffirmed that the party would continue to uphold democratic values without compromise in the future.
