Three killed in violent incidents

JARANWALA:

Three people were killed and 19 others injured in violent incidents during Eid holidays.

According to police, 35-year-old Yaseen and 48-year-old Muhammad Riaz were standing outside their home in Chak No. 141-RB after offering Eid prayers when rivals Iftikhar and his accomplices opened fire over an old enmity. Both men died on the spot.

In another incident near Tandlianwala,, a dispute over the distribution of money at the shrine of Baba Sattar Shah in Chak No. 402-GB led to a violent clash. Nazar Hussain Shah and his sons allegedly tortured Aish Bahadur Shah, who later died from injuries reportedly sustained to his chest.
