Did Taylor Frankie Paul just tease a Bachelorette ending we may never see?
Before ABC pulled her season, Taylor Frankie Paul said the spoilers were wrong, and teased an unseen ending

Just days before her season was set to air, Taylor Frankie Paul opened up about her The Bachelorette journey—one that viewers may now never see.
ABC officially scrapped season 22 of The Bachelorette on Thursday, only three days ahead of its scheduled premiere. The decision followed renewed scrutiny surrounding Paul’s past legal issues, including a resurfaced video tied to a 2023 domestic incident involving her ex, Dakota Mortensen.
Before the cancellation, Paul spoke at a New York press event, teasing a dramatic and unpredictable ending to her season. Addressing viral TikTok theories about her final pick, she dismissed them outright.
“I’ve seen a lot of spoilers. However, none of them have been really correct,” she said, hinting that fans would have been surprised by how things actually played out.
While she stayed tight-lipped about whether she ultimately found love, Paul described the experience as positive. She even admitted she could relate to past leads who developed feelings for more than one contestant.
The season also introduced new production twists. Unlike previous leads, Paul was allowed limited social media activity during filming, though she clarified she remained largely disconnected from the outside world, aside from communicating with her children.
She also teased the presence of a “villain” contestant, admitting she likely kept him around longer than she should have. “When you find things out, you’re just like, ‘Oh, shit!’” she said, without revealing his identity.
Despite the controversy and the show’s cancellation, Paul says she has no major regrets. “I feel very good in the experience… I have no regrets — just things I could have probably done a little differently,” she shared.
The fallout has extended beyond The Bachelorette. Her Hulu series, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, is now facing uncertainty, with production reportedly paused.
As for her relationships with castmates, Paul maintained that she holds no grudges. “I have nothing against any of them,” she said, addressing rumors of tension within the group.
Navigating the headlines hasn’t been easy, she admitted. “It’s been really difficult and heavy… but I’m handling it like any normal human would, struggling, but trying to show up.”
With the season shelved indefinitely, Paul’s version of The Bachelorette may remain one of the franchise’s most talked-about unseen chapters.
