Olivia Rodrigo references time in London, suggesting relationship with Louis Partridge remains ongoing

Olivia Rodrigo has suggested she is still in a relationship with Louis Partridge, referencing her time spent in London following recent breakup speculation.

The singer addressed her connection to the UK capital in a British Vogue interview published on March 19, noting that her experiences there have influenced her upcoming music. “I’ve found a lot of inspiration from being in London,” she said. “I’ve spent so much time here over the course of making this album. It has a lot of songs that are London vibes, about experiences that I’ve had here.”

Rodrigo, 23, has spent extended periods in England while working on her third album, with London playing a central role in shaping its sound and themes. Her connection to the country also includes a headline performance at Glastonbury Festival last year, where she revealed that her song “So American” was inspired by Partridge.

Following that performance, Partridge publicly supported her, writing on Instagram, “She worked her ass off for it and couldn’t be more deserving of all her success and for the great crowd that was watching."

Despite her global profile, Rodrigo indicated that her experience in the UK has been relatively low-key. “No one was being weird to me. I’m like, ‘Do I need to do more press?’” she said. “But I just think British people are just cool—they don’t want to bug you. I love everything English, English culture and English people. I want to half move here one of these days.”

Both Rodrigo and Partridge have previously stated their preference for keeping their relationship private. “Olivia and I choose, or have been choosing, to not be so public,” he said in an earlier interview.

The couple were first linked publicly in 2024 and have largely kept details of their relationship out of the spotlight.
