Joseph Duggar and Kendra Duggar stepped away from social media in late 2021, a move that has drawn renewed attention following recent legal developments.

The couple, known for appearing on 19 Kids and Counting, were previously active online, frequently sharing updates about their family life. Their last post came in November 2021, marking their daughter Addison’s birthday, after which they stopped posting entirely.

According to People, their social media silence occurred roughly a year after an alleged 2020 incident involving a minor. The publication reports that Joseph Duggar was arrested in March 2026 and charged in connection with the allegations.

As reported by People, the case came to light after the alleged victim later disclosed the incident, prompting an investigation. Additional details, including the location and nature of the allegations, have been cited from law enforcement and court-related information referenced by the outlet.

Duggar is currently in custody and awaiting legal proceedings, according to the same report. Neither he nor Kendra Duggar has publicly addressed the allegations.

The Duggar family rose to fame through 19 Kids and Counting, which aired on TLC and followed Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and their large family. The show was canceled in 2015 following earlier controversies involving Josh Duggar.

As the case continues to develop, the couple’s years-long absence from social media has resurfaced as part of the broader timeline surrounding the allegations.
