Shia LaBeouf caused a commotion in a hotel lobby in Italy after being spotted in boxer briefs, reportedly asking strangers for a light in footage that quickly circulated online.

The unusual incident comes just weeks after the actor’s arrest in New Orleans during Mardi Gras celebrations.

According to reports, LaBeouf had traveled to Rome after receiving court approval to attend his father’s baptism. His request to leave Louisiana for religious reasons was initially denied before being granted for a short trip.

The actor was previously charged with two counts of simple battery following a bar altercation in New Orleans, where he was accused of getting into a heated confrontation and physically assaulting another individual.

He was later released on a $100,000 bond and ordered to attend rehab and undergo drug testing.

In recent weeks, LaBeouf has also made headlines for personal changes, including his reported split from Mia Goth after nearly a decade together.
