Thieves escape with jewelry, cash

MUZAFFARGARH:

Burglars broke into a house at Chowk Sarwar Shaheed and escaped with gold jewelley and cash worth millions of rupees.

According to sources, the incident occurred in the Haji Abad locality where unidentified thieves targeted the house of Ajmal Khan during the night.

The thieves entered the house in darkness and took away a locked box kept in a room. The victim stated that the box contained five tola of gold jewellery worth approximately Rs2.5 million along with Rs400,000 in cash. The thieves fled with the valuables.
