Couple found dead at home

LAHORE:

A man and his wife were found dead in their home in the Ahmed Park locality near Data Darbar.

According to a spokesperson for the Edhi Foundation, the bodies were found in the house on Mohni Road. Initial reports indicated that 38-year-old Azad Hussain and his 35-year-old wife Pakeeza might have died due to suffocation.

Their two children, eight-year-old Khizar Abbas and six-year-old Hur Abbas, were found in the house.

Police and investigation teams reached the spot and collected evidence to determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths.

The investigators suspect that chemical fumes from a factory operating above the residence may have caused the suffocation.
