Re-polling set for 7 stations in PB-36 Kalat

QUETTA:

Re-polling will take place today, March 10, at seven polling stations in the PB-36 Kalat constituency of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has confirmed. All necessary arrangements have been finalized to ensure a smooth process.

A total of 8,838 registered voters are eligible to participate, including 5,517 men and 3,321 women. The contest will involve 36 candidates vying for the seat.

Polling will run continuously from 8 am to 5 pm without any breaks, providing voters ample opportunity to exercise their franchise.

Provincial Election Commissioner Balochistan Ali Asghar Sial has issued strict directives to the District Returning Officer, Returning Officer, monitoring teams, and other relevant authorities. He emphasized the need to conduct the re-polling in a free, fair, and peaceful environment.
