In a first, K-P police set up UAV division

In a significant milestone for law enforcement, the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa police have established the country's first dedicated Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Division, positioning the force as a pioneer in adopting advanced drone technology for security operations.

According to official details, the police have outpaced other provincial forces by formally launching this UAV Division. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) have been issued from the Central Police Office to govern its operations. Following this groundbreaking step, ground control stations have been activated across various districts in the province, making K-P police an example of technological innovation for other regions.
