Children’s & Family Emmy Awards honor Ana Gasteyer, Andrew Garfield among top winners

Ana Gasteyer and Andrew Garfield won their first Emmys as the Walt Disney Company led the ceremony with 22 awards

The fourth annual Children’s & Family Emmy Awards recognized standout talent across television for young audiences, with winners including Ana Gasteyer and Andrew Garfield earning their first Emmy Awards.

Held at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York, the ceremony honored excellence in children’s and family programming across live-action, animation, voice performance, music, and technical categories.

The event was hosted by actor and puppeteer John Tartaglia and featured an opening performance of “Won’t You Be My Neighbor” by Regina Spektor.

Top individual honors went to performers including Joe Locke for Heartstopper, John Lithgow for Spellbound, Tabitha Brown for children’s personality, and Gasteyer for her voice role as Crabitha in RoboGobo. Garfield also secured his first Emmy for his appearance on Sesame Street.

The Walt Disney Company emerged as the biggest overall winner, collecting 22 awards across its brands and studios.

The ceremony marked the first time all competitive categories were presented in a single night, highlighting the growing scope and recognition of children’s and family entertainment in television.
