Safety alert issued in Gwadar

Amid escalating tensions between Iran and Israel and growing military developments in the region, the district administration of Gwadar on Saturday issued a public advisory urging residents to exercise extreme caution and avoid unnecessary risks.

In an official statement, the Gwadar district administration warned citizens against travelling to Iran under any circumstances, citing the fragile regional security environment.

The advisory specifically cautioned residents of Gwadar and adjoining areas, particularly those in Jiwani, Kuntani port and the fishing community, to refrain from entering Iranian territorial waters for fishing or any other activity.
