Dar arrives in Jeddah for OIC meeting

Member states coordinate unified response to West Bank developments

Ishaq Dar arrives in Jeddah for OIC meeting on Palestine on 27 February 2026.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar arrived at the OIC Secretariat in Jeddah on Friday to participate in the Extraordinary Ministerial Session of the OIC Executive Committee.

The session was convened to discuss recent illegal Israeli measures, including settlement expansions and attempts to impose alleged sovereignty over the Occupied West Bank.

Upon his arrival, DPM was received by OIC Assistant Secretary General for Palestine and Al-Quds Affairs, Samir Bakr, along with Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the OIC. The meeting is part of broader efforts by member states to coordinate a unified response to the ongoing developments in Palestine.
